Product Features
The clamp overhead cranes is specialized equipment designed for handling slabs, especially high-temperature slabs. Its primary use is in the continuous casting production line, where it transports high-temperature slabs to the billet storage, and heating furnaces, or handles room-temperature slabs in the finished product warehouse for stacking, loading, and unloading operations.
It can lift slabs or large square billets with a thickness of more than 150mm. The temperature of high-temperature slabs can exceed 650°C.
Product Structural Forms
- Flexible Clamping Cranes: Characterized by its lightweight and advanced coiling technology, the main lifting mechanism is connected to the tongs via steel wire rope. The precision design of the wire rope winding system reduces the swing of the clamp device.
- Rigid Clamping Cranes: Known for easy positioning, high efficiency, and good safety. The power-driven lifting steel wire rope is equipped with single or multiple layers of guide tubes, which prevent the clamp device from shaking during operation through the guiding action of the guide tubes.
- Gravity Clamping Cranes: Features a simple structure, similar to a general bridge crane. The slab tongs are suspended from the main lifting mechanism's hoisting device (single or double hook), all using a special simple clamp device with an automatic opening and closing mechanism and a locking function.
- Customizable and Diverse Structures: The structure of slab tongs includes automatic slab tongs, electric winch automatic slab tongs, electric traversing slab tongs, automatic trapezoidal slab tongs, and hydraulic slab tongs, offering tailored solutions for different operational needs.
